New 2010 Audi S4

Audi’s midsize performance sedan, the 2010 Audi S4 gets a new, smaller engine that maintains the level of performance of last year’s V-8, with far superior fuel economy.

Behind that big grille is a 333-horsepower, 3.0-liter supercharged V-6. That muscle gets bolted to a six-speed manual or Audi’s seven-speed, dual-clutch S Tronic transmission where power is delivered to the Quattro all-wheel drive system. A rear view camera, TV with DVD entertainment system, navigation system and Bang & Olufsen audio system are optional.

Audi Space Frame technology provides a strong all aluminum-alloy structure under the luscious skin of the S4. The aluminum frame is hundreds of pounds lighter than a conventional steel frame, which enhances fuel economy and handling, as well as acceleration. While it is light, the space frame is also very strong. In conjunction with front, front-side, and two-row head airbags, this structure delivers Five-Star crash ratings across the board in government tests.
