The Audi A6's engine is considerably bigger than the Subaru Outback's. Keep in mind that more massive engines may use more gas than smaller ones. The Audi A6 packs quite a wallop compared to the Subaru Outback in terms of torque, which is roughly equivalent to acceleration. Torque equals pickup, and the Audi A6 will have picked up and gone by the time the Subaru Outback finally gets moving.

Utility
The Subaru Outback and the Audi A6 can accommodate the same number of passengers.

Convenience
The Subaru Outback's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the Audi.

Dimensions
Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Audi A6 than the Subaru because of its bigger tank. The Subaru Outback and the Audi A6 compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Subaru Outback is substantially cheaper to get to the dealership than the Audi A6. Regarding gas mileage, the Audi A6 is a bit better than the Outback, but not by much. The Audi A6 is tremendously costlier than the Subaru Outback as far as MSRP.
