Audi A6 vs. Chevrolet HHR Review

Performance
Regarding horsepower, the Audi packs quite a wallop and will knock the HHR down a few rungs. However, note that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums. With that kind of horsepower, the A6 is a legitimate speedster.

Handling
With their similar turning radii, the Chevrolet HHR and the Audi likely handle approximately the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Audi A6 has a more massive engine than the HHR. Keep in mind that smaller engines typically get better gas mileage, but smaller engines can be stressed more. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Audi A6 is tremendously more powerful than the Chevrolet HHR.

Utility
Neither the Audi nor the Chevrolet HHR has a marked advantage when it comes to seating capacity.

Convenience
The Chevrolet HHR's fuel tank will need to be replenished a tad more often than the unit in the Audi.

Comfort
Taller drivers will significantly enjoy the extra head room in the Chevrolet HHR's front cabin compared to the Audi A6. The ampler interior dimensions of the Chevrolet HHR make it more spacious for your passengers than the Audi A6.

Dimensions
The Audi A6 is considerably heavier than the Chevrolet HHR. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Audi than the Chevrolet HHR because of its bigger tank. The Chevrolet HHR and the A6 compete for the same parking spaces. The A6's longer wheelbase will likely result in a smoother, more stable ride; on the flip side, the Chevrolet HHR may give a more maneuverable feel in daily traffic.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Chevrolet HHR is substantially cheaper to get to the dealership than the A6. Producing an accurate fuel economy evaluation is so difficult that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though the Chevrolet HHR is the winner as far as fuel economy. The A6 uses a lot of gasoline compared to the Chevrolet HHR. The Audi A6 is tremendously more expensive than the Chevrolet in terms of MSRP.

Warranty
The basic after-sale protection that comes with the Chevrolet isn't quite as generous as the Audi A6's.
