2014 Acura RDX Overview
The Acura RDX is a midsize crossover that's sold in front- or all-wheel-drive form. It seats five and competes with everything from the Audi Q5 and BMW X3 to the Nissan Murano's higher trim levels.
Standard exterior features include 18-inch alloy wheels and keyless entry. Xenon high-intensity-discharge headlamps and power liftgate are optional.
The interior is fixed with leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a fold-flat backseat. The RDX does not shy away from technology as automatic climate control, Pandora internet radio compatibility, and text-messaging support come standard. Optional GPS-linked climate control, ELS Surround premium audio, and navigation system features available.
Under the Hood
The Acura RDX comes equipped with a 273-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 engine, in either front- or all-wheel drive. Six-speed automatic transmission is standard with Premium gas recommended during fill-ups.
The RDX has a variety of standard features including side-impact airbags for the front seats and side curtain airbags for both rows of seats. Antilock brakes, electronic stability system, and backup camera all come standard.
