As the lines between SUVs and crossover vehicles become blurred, drivers now expect supple handling mixed with excellent performance and utilitarian cargo room. The 2008 Acura MDX offers that balance, along with refinement, reliability, and a sculpted body shape.

The class-leading 3.7 liter V6 engine produces 300 horsepower which offers effortless acceleration. The MDX’s off-road abilities are bolstered by Hill Logic, which diverts power to the rear wheels when a steep incline is detected. Even with all the advanced technology, the MDX is best used for light off-highway driving only.

The MDX can seat up to seven passengers and offers generous cargo storage with its adjustable flat-folding 2^nd and 3^rd row seats. It also offers a standard power tailgate for easy loading and unloading. The standard trailer stability assist works in conjunction with the Vehicle Stability Assist system to stabilize the vehicle when towing.

Luxury and entertainment features include an optional Navigation System that includes an 8-inch screen, DVD database, voice recognition, and real-time traffic information. The ELS Premium Sound System includes 10 speakers, a 6-disc in-dash CD player with MP3 and WMA playback, and an auxiliary input jack for personal music players. Standard Tri-zone climate control with air filtration allows front and rear passengers to adjust their perfect temperature. Front bucket sets offer comfortable support with an 8-way power adjustable driver seat and power lumbar support.
