Lexus Overview:
Lexus has harnessed hybrid technology in three other models whose performance is greatly enhanced by the addition of an electric motor. They are the RX 450h SUV, the GS 450h sedan, and the LS 600h L super luxury sedan. All boast amazing fuel economy and acceleration compared to their gas-only counterparts. The Lexus LX 570 full-size SUV seats up to eight in three rows and includes a navigation system as standard equipment. The IS-F is Lexus' premiere compact sport sedan. The IS-F features a 416-horsepower, 5.0-liter V-8 engine which boasts amazing handling on the street or the track. The IS-F receives a USB/iPod connector, while the optional navigation system’s voice-recognition software had been improved for 2010. The IS 250 and more powerful IS 350 sedans are now available as two-door, four-seat convertibles and are appropriately named: IS 250C and IS 350C. In addition to gaining a retractable hardtop, both the IS 250 and IS 350 upgrade their tech features. The ES 350 midsize sedan is essentially a luxury version of the Toyota Camry with a multitude of luxury options, including an available panoramic glass roof. The ES 350 receives several safety and technology upgrades for 2010. The GS performance sedan is available as the GS 350 with a 303-horsepower V-6 engine or the GS 460 with a 342-horsepower V-8 engine. Both the GS 350 and 460 receive many safety and technology upgrades for 2010. Topping out the Lexus sedan lineup is the stylish full-size LS 460 and long-wheelbase LS 460 L. The beautiful SC 430 convertible features a wonderful retractable hardtop and 4.3-liter V-8 engine for thrilling top-down motoring. The SC 430 receives an enhanced navigation system, Bluetooth with phonebook download and other impressive technology features. Lexus offers several sizes of luxury SUVs for 2010, ranging from the mid-size RX 350 to the full-size remodeled GX trim. The all-new GX will be released in 2010 is likely to be based on the all-new Toyota 4Runner. |
