Infiniti Overview:

For 2009, Nissan’s luxury brand, Infiniti, unleashes a more powerful crossover SUV, the FX50, which boasts a 5.0-liter, 390-horsepower V-8 beast. The FX50 seats five, has a plethora of high-tech features including Rear Active Steer, Lane Departure Prevention and Around View Monitor, which gives you a virtual 360-degree view in your in-dash monitor so you can see all around the FX when parking. The FX35 underwent a minor redesign for 2009, and the FX45 was discontinued.

The G35 sedan not only takes the G37 coupe’s 3.7-liter, 432-horsepower V-6, but takes its name and becomes the G37 sedan. A G37 convertible is now available with a three-piece retractable hardtop. The G37 lineup comes in four trims: base, Journey, Sport 6MT and G37x, which is sold exclusively with all-wheel drive.

Both the M35 and M45 midsize sport sedans receive a boost in power with 28 more horsepower and countless sophisticated and luxurious amenities. The M35x and M45x feature all-wheel drive.

After getting redesigned last year, the QX56 full-size SUV provides a more luxurious cabin than ever before and a maximum seating capacity of seven to eight passengers. Its carryover V-8 powertrain provides an ample 9,000-pound towing capacity and the car is now available in Deep Garnet.

The EX35 luxury SUV was discontinued for 2009.
